Acne treatment and acne scars removal website

Can you remember yourself as an adolescent? Did you have the similar problems as the most of teenagers nowadays have? Did you suffer from the most common disease acne vulgaris? If not, than you can count yourself to be a lucky guy, because unfortunately many of us have faced the problem of undesired pimples and areas with scaly red skin. No matter how advanced the modern treatment methods are still it is pity to admit, but our modern generation of teenagers also has to cope with this human skin disease.

Acne vulgaris (or it is also called as cystic acne) is a skin disease that affects the sebaceous glands, as a result if sebum production is excessive, then pores clog because of the formed sebaceous gland plugs in the ducts. The obstructed ducts are the ideal environment for propionibacterium (Propionibacterium acnes), thus it leads to inflammation that is revealed in the forms of acne, pimples, pustules and other unpleasant and disgusting outcomes. It is a common belief that acne is a “plague” only for adolescents still the growing number of adults is also looking for help in acne treatment centers.

The reason of acne is the subject of dispute among many dermatologists. Most experts agree on the point that a major factor is the increasing activity of the sebaceous glands and as a consequence the occurrence of acne due to an excess of male hormones – androgens. One thing is known for certain any change in the content of sex hormones can affect our skin and hair.

There are several ways of treating acne and most of us prefer to do it at home, while professionals insist on competent treatment at special clinics. Moreover dermatologists do not recommend squeezing blackheads because of the risk of getting dirt deep into the skin rather than just on the surface. So if you suffer from acne and do not know what to do with it, it is highly advised to consult your dermatologist in order not to worsen the situation.
